International Society of Arboriculture Qualifications

ISA Certified Arborists®

ISA Certified Arborists must have experience in arboriculture and also pass an examination that assesses thorough competency in and knowledge of the six domains of tree care practices: tree biology; identification and selection; installation and establishment; soil management; pruning, diagnosis, tree protection; and tree risk management. An ISA Certified Arborist must take continuing education credits in order to maintain certification and keep abreast of new technologies.

ISA TRAQ Qualified

The ISA TRAQ program educates and trains arborists in the fundamentals and standards of tree risk assessment. The qualifications promote the safety of people and property and gives the arborists the knowledge to provide tree owners with information which allows them to make informed decisions about the trees on their property.

Accredited companies, like Davey, represent the most credible sources for professional service. By choosing Davey, you have selected a tree service provider that is focused on your needs.

CTSP

Certified Treecare Safety Professional

The Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) program is the only safety credentialing program in the industry. Additional education affords an arborist the opportunity to become a safety expert in the tree care industry, preventing accidents, providing hazard and incident control and potentially saving lives. Once qualified, applicants must complete a core competencies study guide and attend and complete the CTSP Advanced Safety/Behavioral Training Workshop. Re-certification credits in continuing education are required to maintain the CTSP designation.
